On the morning of March 25, a photo exhibition themed “Argentine Agricultural Technologies Reaching the World” officially opened at Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST). The event was not only a cultural and scientific exchange activity but also a vivid demonstration of the increasingly deep and effective cooperation between Vietnam and Argentina in science and technology, particularly in high-tech agriculture.
The exhibition was jointly organized by the Embassy of Argentina in Vietnam and HUST, with the participation of H.E. Marcos Antonio Bednarski, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Argentine Republic to Vietnam, along with scientists, faculty members, and a large number of students. This is one of the key activities marking the 70th anniversary of HUST, reaffirming the university’s prominent role in international cooperation in education and research.
In his remarks, Ambassador Marcos Antonio Bednarski highlighted the role of the National Institute of Agricultural Technology (INTA) of Argentina—a leading public research institution that plays a central role in promoting innovation and advancing the agro-industrial sector. The achievements presented at the exhibition are the result of years of research, reflecting Argentina’s scientific capacity and the global applicability of its agricultural technologies. On behalf of HUST, Associate Professor Vu Van Yem, Vice President of the University, affirmed that cooperation with INTA has yielded practical and meaningful results. Academic exchange programs and online training courses, particularly in dairy technology and food processing, have attracted hundreds of students and faculty members, contributing to the enhancement of education and research quality.
Ambassador Marcos Antonio Bednarski introduced key exhibition images to faculty members and students of Hanoi University of Science and Technology.
Notably, Argentina is among the first Latin American countries to establish scientific and technological cooperation with HUST. Through both bilateral and multilateral programs, the two sides have implemented various activities, including expert exchanges, joint research, and technology transfer in dairy production, post-harvest technology, and biotechnology.
His Excellency Marcos A. Bednarski, Ambassador of Argentina; Associate Professor Vu Van Yem, Vice President of Hanoi University of Science and Technology; and Associate Professor Chu Ky Son, Dean of the School of Chemistry and Life Sciences, presented certificates to students of the School who successfully completed the online course.
The exhibition not only showcases scientific advancements but also portrays the people of Argentina—farmers and scientists who contribute daily to the sustainable development of agriculture. It conveys a strong message about the role of science and technology in addressing global challenges, from food security to sustainable development.
It can be affirmed that the exhibition “Argentine Agri-Technology to the World” is not merely a display event but a strategic bridge that further strengthens cooperation between HUST and Argentine partners. In the context of deepening international integration, such initiatives serve as a vital foundation for knowledge transfer, innovation, and the development of high-quality human resources, contributing to the country’s industrialization and modernization.
