On the morning of March 11, the School of Chemistry and Life Sciences (SCLS), Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST), organized an international scientific seminar within the framework of the UK-Vietnam iTechpart project titled “Building UK-Viet Nam Talent in Clean Energy and Carbon-Negative Materials: Advanced Biochar Quality Assessment with Hyperspectral Imaging and ML/AI” funded by the British Council. The event took place at the BK Alumni building and represents an important academic activity aimed at strengthening research collaboration between higher education institutions in Vietnam and UK, while also contributing to the development of highly qualified human resources in clean energy and environmentally friendly materials.

On the morning of January 16, in Room 215, Building C4, School of Chemistry and Life Sciences, Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST) had the honor of welcoming Professor Andreas Seidel-Morgenstern, former Director of the Max Planck Institute for Dynamics of Complex Technical Systems (Federal Republic of Germany). During his working visit to Vietnam, the Professor delivered a specialized lecture that attracted strong interest from a large number of faculty members and students.

On the morning of August 7, 2025, in Room 402-C10, a scientific seminar on environmental technology was delivered by Assoc. Prof. Takahiro Watari – a former research student at Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST), currently serving as Associate Professor at the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Nagaoka University of Technology (NUT), Japan. The seminar not only brought fresh scientific insights into water treatment and environmental technologies, but also opened valuable opportunities for Vietnamese students and researchers to access advanced scholarship and training programs at one of Japan’s leading technological universities.
