In the context of climate change posing severe challenges to humanity, the transition to a circular economy is no longer an option but an inevitable path. The CEBCAT project—an international collaborative initiative to strengthen capacity for the transition to a circular economy—has clearly demonstrated the shared determination of participating countries, including Vietnam, to take concrete action toward a green and sustainable future.

On the morning of April 4, in room C1-222, the School of Chemistry and Life Sciences at Hanoi University of Science and Technology welcomed a special guest: Mr. Dago Caceres, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Specialty Additives at Ashland – one of the world’s leading companies in specialty materials and chemicals.

On the morning of March 25, a photo exhibition themed “Argentine Agricultural Technologies Reaching the World” officially opened at Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST). The event was not only a cultural and scientific exchange activity but also a vivid demonstration of the increasingly deep and effective cooperation between Vietnam and Argentina in science and technology, particularly in high-tech agriculture.

On the morning of March 12, 2026, in Room 222, C1 Building, Hanoi University of Science and Technology held a signing ceremony for a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Ajinomoto Vietnam Co., Ltd.. The event marked a new step in the partnership between the university and the company, aiming to promote research activities, innovation and the development of high-quality human resources.

On the morning of March 11, the School of Chemistry and Life Sciences (SCLS), Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST), organized an international scientific seminar within the framework of the UK-Vietnam iTechpart project titled “Building UK-Viet Nam Talent in Clean Energy and Carbon-Negative Materials: Advanced Biochar Quality Assessment with Hyperspectral Imaging and ML/AI” funded by the British Council. The event took place at the BK Alumni building and represents an important academic activity aimed at strengthening research collaboration between higher education institutions in Vietnam and UK, while also contributing to the development of highly qualified human resources in clean energy and environmentally friendly materials.
