On the afternoon of October 29, Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST) welcomed a delegation from the University of Limoges (France) led by Professor Véronique Blanquet, Vice President for International Strategy, to discuss expanding cooperation in education, research, and sustainable development.

The University of Limoges currently enrolls more than 18,000 students across seven campuses in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region, and is recognized for its strengths in ceramic materials, water treatment, electronics and photonics, health sciences, and social sciences. The university maintains over 400 international cooperation agreements and welcomes around 2,000 international students each year.

Professor Blanquet stated: “We look forward to working with Hanoi University of Science and Technology to build an innovative model of higher education that is socially and environmentally responsible.”

Associate Professor Nguyen Thi Anh Tuyet, Vice Dean of the School of Chemistry and Life Sciences, shared experiences in international collaboration and highlighted several strategic goals of the School in education and research. Both sides discussed and outlined future cooperation in Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, and Sustainable Environment. In the field of Chemical Engineering, the two universities aim to develop a joint research project on advanced ceramic materials.
The partnership between HUST and the University of Limoges opens new opportunities for international education and research.
