Ambassador Orozco also expressed admiration for Vietnam’s multi-sector development achievements, especially the country’s effective use of science and technology in agriculture and industry. He highly valued Vietnam’s comprehensive development policies aimed at improving the quality of life for its people. Ambassador Orozco stressed the importance of international educational partnerships in sustaining these technological advancements and conveyed El Salvador’s commitment to promoting academic exchanges and joint research with Vietnamese universities.
Representing HUST, Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Dac Trung — Head of the Department of International Cooperation — acknowledged the Ambassador’s goodwill and keen interest in education and high-quality human resource development. Assoc. Prof. Trung affirmed: “Although South America lies half a world away from Vietnam, we have always paid close attention to countries in this region, including El Salvador. We have welcomed several South American student delegations to study and conduct research here and hope to expand cooperation in areas such as digitalization, artificial intelligence, renewable energy, and sustainable agriculture.”
