On January 30, 2024, the formal memorandum of understanding signing ceremony took place with the participation of 6 partners include: Linc3.0 of KNU, SCLS, Gangwon regional innovation platform precision medicine division, Dr. OREGONIN INC., BK HOLDINGS và NNP Co., Ltd. This signing ceremony marks the first step in a strategic partnership between the two universities, opening up new prospects in the fields of education, scientific research, and technology transfer.

In a significant stride towards advancing research in plant-based protein, the collaboration between the Institute of Biotechnology and Food Technology, part of the School of Chemistry and Life Sciences (SCLS) at Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST) and the Natural Resource Institute (NRI), University of Greenwich, United Kingdom has been forged under the project titled " Multi-disciplinary network platform to assess value chain opportunity for plant-based protein by upcycling food wastes and improving food safety " (https://sbft.hust.edu.vn/gcrf2021/).
