Group of Inorganic Chemistry and Advanced Materials

The Inorganic Chemistry and Advanced Materials Division (formerly the Department of Inorganic and General Chemistry) was established in 1956 and has contributed to the education of many generations of engineers, bachelors, scientists, and entrepreneurs for the country. Throughout its development, the Division has formed numerous partnerships both domestically and internationally with universities, research institutes, enterprises, and related agencies, implementing many projects that bring high economic and social benefits to the nation.

• Educational outcomes in the last 10 years (2013-present):

In the past 10 years, the Division has trained 9 PhDs, 40 MScs, and over 80 bachelors and engineers. The alumni are currently playing important roles in organizations such as Đức Giang Chemical Company, Samsung R&D Center, Hanotech Vietnam, Vietnam-Russia Tropical Center, Ford Vietnam, various inspection centers, R&D departments, and quality control departments of factories and companies.
Currently, many former students are pursuing PhDs in Canada, Japan, and South Korea, some alumni have been becoming academic staffs at Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST), and other universities, colleges, and high schools within the country.
