Pharmaceutical chemistry and pesticide engineering Engineering specialize in the field of isolating, formulating, extracting, and synthesizing bioactive compounds for the production of pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and plant protection chemicals. Pharmaceutical Chemistry focuses on researching the metabolism, explaining the mechanism of action of compounds at the molecular level, establishing relationships between structure and biological or pharmacological effects.
