On Wednesday Mars, 27th, 2025, the meeting between the Embassy of The Argentine Republic in Vietnam and HUST took place at HUST campus.
The delegations of both sides captured beautiful moments during the meeting.
The Argentine delegation included Ambassador Marcos A. Bednarski, Secretary for Political Affairs, Cooperation and Consular Affairs, Tomás Oyuela Markovich, and Assistant to the Embassy, Tran Le Duy.
On the side of Hanoi University of Science and Technology, the delegation was welcomed by Assoc. Prof. Huynh Quyet Thang - Director of Hanoi University of Science and Technology; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chu Ky Son - Dean of the School of Chemistry and Life Sciences (SCLS); Assoc. Prof. Vu Thu Trang - Deputy Head of the Faculty of Food Engineering, SCLS; Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Lan Huong - Head of the Faculty of Bioengineering, SCLS; Dr. Nguyen Chinh Nghia, member of the SCLS research team.
Assoc. Prof. Huynh Quyet Thang, HUST president, expressed his pleasure to welcome the ambassador and emphasized that HUST always promotes cooperation with major partners in the world, and will create conditions to implement cooperation in the near future.

In the last 10 years, Argentina established the relationship with Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST) in the aspect of scientific and culture exchanges, especially in research and training activities related to milk and dairy products, post-harvest.
The meeting took place in a warm and friendly atmosphere. The leaders of the two sides not only discussed about work but also shared about the unique cultural features of the two countries.
At the meeting, Assoc. Prof. Chu Ky Son, Dean of School of Chemistry and Life Science introduced the current cooperation between HUST and Argentine partners and future perspectives, focusing on the online training for HUST students, network establishment and co-projects.
Mr. Marco Antonio Bednarski, the Ambassador of Argentina to Vietnam, added that, in Vietnam they had many projects and partnered with many other institutions in Vietnam. Moreover, they hoped to further collaborate with HUST to organize conferences between Argentine and Vietnamese institutions and companies in Food Technology, especially in dairy and meat products. Digital transformation and smart agriculture could be a promising collaboration between two countries, where HUST could become a hub for this field. Cultural and training activities at HUST will also be taken into consideration by the end of 2025. Furthermore, an exchange of HUST lecturers to Argentina should be implemented soon.
The meeting between the Argentine Ambassador to Vietnam and the leaders of Hanoi University of Science and Technology not only affirmed the strong scientific cooperation relationship but also opened up many new opportunities in the future. This is a testament to the exchange of knowledge, culture and friendship, deepening the strategic partnership between the two countries.
